Because of this, Family Vision Center is always investing in state of the art technology. This state of the art technology allows our doctors to test patients above and beyond the standard eye exam.
In addition to standard eye care machines, Family Vision Center has the following specialty machines:
Visual Field Analyzer: Zeiss Model 750 - This visual field analyzer allows our doctors to detect glaucoma earlier than many other machines. It is also more patient friendly; the visual field analyzer allows our doctors to detect glaucoma in less time than other equipment and offers more comfort and accessibility than other machines. The hard drive found in this machine allows us to store and compare your medical records with ease. The Glaucoma Progression Analysis software that comes with this Visual Field Analyzer provides our doctors with progression analysis tools to help us manage your glaucoma better. OCT Machine: Zeiss cirrus HD OCT model 4000 - This new and improved OCT Machine gives our doctors the confidence needed to detect eye diseases. The HD OCT Machine provides our doctors with high-definition images of ocular structures and visualization of retinal structures allowing them to see things clearer. Critical details in eye disease detection can be seen on the layer maps and thickness maps delivered by this HD OCT Machine. Corneal Topographer: Zeiss ATLAS 9000 - This new Corneal Topographer allows our doctors to perform accurate eye exams while providing patients with maximum comfort. The corneal topographer provides our doctors with pathology detection and management and also allows us to fit patients for contact lenses. This machine analyzes 15 images per second allowing our eye care staff to get the images needed the first time. The Atlas 9000 Corneal Topographer provides doctors with a more detailed analysis of exams than any other corneal topographer.
